01. What are the IRC rules?
If you have complains about these rules go to
#opers and notice it there.
These are points that are Prohibited on the server:
01) Respect Everyone In The Channel.
02) No Excessive Foul Language, you will be warned once,
then it may result in a ban or kick.
03) No scripts or bots, an op will decide if the particular
script or bot will be counted as a script or bot.
04) No Spamming, Period.
05) Don't shout at people who don't know something or
else, Helping someone with their problem comes before
idle chit chat.
06) No advertising unrelated channels or webpages (i.e.
compteting websites warez websites or porno websites).
07) Do not ask for Op or Voice. When a Op chose to give
you Op or Voice he will. Do not try to beg for it.
08) Any behavior reducing the functionality of IRC.
09) No Flooding an a IRC channel with text, beeping,
or any other means of disrupting the normal flow of a
channel.
10) Entering an IRC channel with the purpose of "taking
over" the channel against the wishes of the current
channel operator.
11) No publication of coordination unless it's your own.
This will lead to a strict ban without warning.
12) Follow Galactic-quests Policy.
13) Abusing or threating OPs is forbidden. You will be
kicked or banned if you do so. This also applies to other
players.
14) No offensive or unappropriate channels are to be
created.
15) Dont argue or dispute an OPs decision if they kick/ban
or say something to someone. If you disagree with the
decision talk to them in #opers.

03. What are the forum rules?
Spamming - Since we have quite a few spamm0rs on the
forum, 2 sections have been established (Chibby and Mankiys
sections) for these users to conduct their business and
not pollute the other areas of the forum that contain
informative material. Light and occasional spamming will
be tolerated but not necessarily appreciated. If you
cannot keep it in the designated areas, further action
will be taken to stop it.
Posts - will be deleted roughtly after a week or two
of inactivity. So dont post garbage just to get your
post count up. Any useless/irrelevant topics/posts i
see will also be deleted. Keep in mind that the primary
use of these forums is for the game GQ not something
else. Any negative posts that invite conflict and hostility
amoung members of the community will also be removed.
Keep offensive language and swearing out please. This
is a public forum and kids do visit this as well. Be
thoughtful of others in the community. I will generally
edit out any of this, but continual repeats of this will
have to be taken further. This also includes offensive
material/images in your signatures as well. Bad posts
will be deleted altogether. No pornographic or sexual
material of any nature is allowed either.
NO ADVERTISING or Promoting of any other games on the
GQ forums either.
NO Excessive use of the Emoticons either please. No more
than 10 should be required in one post.
Don't stretch the forums, either vertically or horizontally
by continual spamming.
NOTE: Avatars must not exceed a size of 100 x 100 pixels
and 30kb size - If it is a couple of pixels out, we wont
bother with it.
PUNISHMENT:
Failure to comply with these rules or if you are breaking
them, you might be punished for it.
Bans will be issued as 1, 2, 3 day or 1 week bans from
the forum.
Servere punishment will be in the form of 1 or 2 month
ban from the forum or a ban from the Galactic-Quest gameserver. |
